Also if you are going to update the car you need a large regulated power supply to keep it on during the process. I don’t see the need to really update it as the changes in software tend to be small ones.
Thanks for that info. I did see that when searching around. Makes sense. These things can consume some power. Luckily I bought a battery tender for the winter. I’ll just make sure it’s all plugged in and had the battery completely charged before I go in and perform my settings. This will sure be a steep learning curve on how to use the software too. But it’ll be worth it once I get it down. Thank you again for all of your insight. I think its pretty simple with ista p its designed to be simple but it can take several hours and there have been warnings the current draw is significant.
